How accessible this website is
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. It has been designed so that you can:
- zoom in to 400% without text spilling off the screen;
- navigate it using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator;
- use it with a screen reader, with headings, landmarks and labelled form fields;
- read it with your own colours and fonts, and without JavaScript, except for the enquiry form’s confirmation message and the staff service desk.
Text and background colours meet the AA contrast requirements. Diagrams have text descriptions.
Known limitations
The uptime bars on the status page show information by colour. The same information is given in text for each component and in each notice.
The service desk pages for staff and contractors need JavaScript to sign in.
Testing
We test the website with automated accessibility checks at desktop and mobile widths whenever it is changed, and check new pages manually with a keyboard and a screen reader. This statement was prepared on 12 October 2026.
