Sectors

We work for the organisations responsible for keeping equipment running after it has been installed.

Our customers maintain equipment that belongs to, or sits in buildings that belong to, somebody else. That is the problem we are set up to solve, and it looks much the same in a factory, a hospital or a pumping station.

Industrial equipment

Manufacturers and service companies supporting production lines, packaging machinery, process plant, compressors and chillers. Remote diagnosis saves site visits, and controlled access lets a manufacturer support its equipment on a customer's site without a standing connection the customer cannot see.

We work to IEC 62443-2-4, which sets out what an operator of industrial control systems should expect from a service provider, and can provide the evidence a site's own assessors ask for.

Healthcare equipment

Service organisations supporting installed hospital equipment under maintenance agreements: beds, imaging, laboratory and monitoring equipment, and the building services around them. Hospitals rightly restrict who can reach anything on their networks. Our approach, with outbound-only connections, named engineer accounts, approval by the hospital and recorded sessions, is designed to fit those restrictions rather than ask for exceptions to them.

Planned work across many hospitals, such as a firmware update to a fleet of installed equipment, is carried out in maintenance windows agreed in advance. We do not make clinical decisions or change the clinical configuration of equipment; that is for the manufacturer and the hospital.

Infrastructure and utilities

Telemetry outstations, control panels and metering at remote or unstaffed sites, where a site visit can mean a day's travel. Cellular links with automatic failover are usually the right choice here.

Where we work

We connect sites in the United Kingdom and in North America. Sites elsewhere can be connected to our UK gateways, subject to the laws of the country concerned.
